The standard Shopify setup was not sufficient to handle Compression Health’s unique shipping requirements and inventory management needs. Key challenges included:

  •  Creating a custom inventory management system on the front end to display real-time stock availability, ensuring customers had accurate information before making a purchase.

We developed and implemented solutions tailored to Compression Health’s specific needs:

  1. Custom Shipping Module: We built a flexible shipping module that dynamically calculated shipping costs based on a range of variables, including product weight, delivery region, and customer-selected shipping options. This allowed Compression Health to offer more shipping choices and control over delivery times.
  2. Front-End Inventory Management: A real-time inventory management feature was developed for the website’s front end, allowing customers to view stock levels for each product. The project was developed using Shopify’s Liquid template language and custom JavaScript:

Shipping Module Development: We integrated third-party APIs to calculate and display real-time shipping costs, giving customers flexibility and transparency during checkout.

Inventory Management System: We developed a custom script to fetch real-time inventory data from Shopify’s back end, ensuring the front end displayed up-to-date stock levels across all product pages.
